Home Learning 12.05.20

Hi Blue Class.

It really is fantastic to see that you are all still continuing with your learning and enjoying your time at home. Here are some of the things you've been busy doing..

Harrison has been researching World War 2 and he created his own Union Jack flag to help celebrate VE Day! Harrison has also been ordering numbers, making equal groups and Harrison has been using words with the suffix 'er' and 'est' to describe how a dragon sounds. My favourite sentence is 'a dragon roars louder than an exploding volcano' wow! It was also Harrison's birthday on Saturday, Happy 6th Birthday!

Marni has been very busy at home too! Marni has celebrated VE Day and made her own bunting for the occasion, she has been going on daily bike rides and practicing her maths. Marni has also researched India and she particularly enjoyed creating her own Rangoli pattern. Marni has also categorised key features into physical and human. Wow Marni, well done!

Sophia has had a very productive few weeks at home completing her learning. Sophia has researched and created Rangoli patterns, practiced her number bonds to 10 and 20, added numbers together using a number line, ordered numbers, identified verbs, counted in 5's and 10's, made arrays and researched India. Sophia has even had time to research World War 2 and VE Day, which she made some bunting for too. I'm blown away Sophia, excellent learning!

It has been so lovely to see what Clara has been up to as well. Clara has been busy baking brownies, litter picking, running with her Mum, sewing greeting cards, riding her bike (and practising changing gears, wow!) and she has been going on nature hunts with her brother. Clara enjoyed celebrating VE Day with her family, she made bunting, had a tea party and even dressed for the occasion! Great work Clara, I love that you're looking after your local area too!

I can't tell you how much I enjoy reading all of your messages and seeing your photos Blue Class! I hope you're all keeping happy and healthy and thank you so much to all parents and carers for doing such an amazing job!

Miss Maric
