In Year 1 we have been focusing on 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea'. We have already used a range of nouns, verbs and adjectives to write a character description about the tiger!
We had our own tea party in school based on the story, we started off by having a snack and a cup of juice on the carpet whilst we read the story. We then enjoyed playing a range of games such as sleeping tigers, a teabag hunt, we used play dough to make treats, paper chains to decorate and we even played a memory game. We had lots of fun and we have planned our recounts this week, ready to start writing next week!
