Home Learning 04.06.20

Hi Blue Class!
I hope you have had a lovely holiday in the sunshine!

Marni has been very busy doing her learning at home. Marni has enjoyed making bees with 2D shapes to celebrate world bee day. Marni has also conducted her own science experiment by testing every day materials to see if they are waterproof. I am also really impressed with Marni's dragon fact file and Marni even used recycled materials to create her own fire breathing dragon! Marni enjoyed her half-term holiday too, she explored the woods with her brothers, cooled off in the paddling pool, found a quiet spot to do some reading and she even learnt to roller skate. Wow Marni, well done!

Hannah has also been a busy bee this week. Hannah has been learning about how to lead a healthy lifestyle and she has ridden her bike around Beighton! She has practiced her counting, multiplication and division. Hannah has been identifying human and physical features for Geography and Hannah has also been following recipes and cooking. It has been an especially exciting week for Hannah as she has lost another tooth so she has even been in touch with the tooth fairy too! Another lovely update Hannah!

Oscar is still working super hard at home too. He has categorised foods into 'healthy' and 'unhealthy' and created his own healthy lunch box. Oscar also read 'Oliver's Vegetables' and he researched how to stay healthy. Oscar has been working hard on his maths too, he has weighed different objects using his hands and scales and then compared and ordered the objects by weight. It is lovely to see Oscar enjoying the Joe Wickes PE classes with his brother as well. Well done Oscar!

Well done Blue Class, Miss Donald and I love seeing your learning! Keep it up!
