Home Learning 08.05.20

Hello again Blue Class!

It's excellent to hear that Hannah has been working really hard again this week. Hannah has been practising her maths and her spellings and she has been reading every night before bed. Hannah has used the suffix 'er' and 'est' to find words to describe how a dragon sounds and she has written some more fantastic sentences! Hannah has also been researching the Second World War and VE day with her sister. On top of all her home learning, Hannah has also had a go at some decorating and she even went on a walk to visit school! Wow, I'm blown away for another week Hannah!

Oscar has had a very busy week too. He has been using his dienes to make equal groups of numbers and then practised counting in 2's, 5's and 10's. Oscar has been having a go at Big Maths, partitioning numbers, and practising his number bonds to 10 and 20. Wow I think we might have a little mathematician on our hands! As well as his maths learning Oscar has also been working through a science work book and he has practising his phonics by reading real and alien words. More importantly, Oscar has learn to ride his bike without stabilizers this week too. Woohoo Oscar, excellent news!

I hope you all enjoy celebrating VE Day today and you have a lovely weekend in the sunshine!
