More super home learning from this week!

Hi everyone,

I have received some fantastic home learning in the class email box already this week. Here is what you guys have all been up to.

Indee has been enjoying lots of time outside with his mum. They went for a walk and even found a tree swing. It looks so much fun. Indee has also completed his Science work. Fantastic learning, keep it up Indee!

James has been doing lots of exciting things at home. He made a shop with his family, where they had to use real money to buy the ingredients to make a cake. James then used everything he had bought and baked a delicious cake. James also enjoyed watching the special message made by the staff from school and even found time to complete his Science learning as well. It looks like you are having a lot of fun James.

Jude has been working hard on his learning challenges again this week. He has completed his maths and he has also designed and labelled the most fantastic dragon. Well done Jude, we are so proud of everything you are doing and I know your mum is too!

David has pushed himself again this week. Not only has he worked really hard on his maths learning, he has designed a dragon and rewritten the story of 'George and the Dragon' in his own words. What an achievement David!

Ava also sent me a picture of the dragon she is basing her English work on. She used her computing skills and chose a dragon from the internet using her iPad. I can't wait to read your writing Ava!

Anthony sent some more pictures of what he has been doing this week too. He has been working hard on our learning challenges whilst staying safe at home. Just look at all that maths learning. Keep up the good work Anthony!

Isla looks like she has been having a lot of fun at home. As well as completing the learning challenges set by the teachers, she has been using her computer to make post cards for her friends. She even went to the post box to send them. Isla has also been taking part in online dance classes with her friends. It all looks amazing Isla, well done!

Miss Barnes and I have also been doing a lot of learning with our own children this week. Miss Barnes has been reading with Willow. Has anybody else been enjoying books at home?

I have been helping Joe with his own maths challenges. We have been using chalks outside to draw ladders to help him count in tens. Grace also enjoyed making pictures with the chalks, she wouldn't even look at the camera!

We love seeing everything you have been doing at home. Keep sending all your pictures into greenclass@beighton.sheffield.sch.uk and I will post them on the blog for everyone to see!

We miss you Green Class,
Love Mrs Gill
