Happy Holidays!

Hi Green Class,

I hope you have had a fun filled first week of your Easter holidays! I know everything may seem a bit strange and it doesn't really feel like a usual holiday, but remember to try and have as much fun as you can.

Here are a few exciting things Joe, Grace and I have been up to this week.

We made paper aeroplanes and flew them around the kitchen.

Even though it is the holidays, Joe has been doing a bit of learning. We were subtracting using a tens frame and play dough, just like we have done in Green Class. Maybe you could have a go at this at home?

We go out for a walk everyday. Joe pretends his scooter is a police vehicle and Grace pretends her bike is a fire engine.

We have also been playing in the garden. Grace found a great hiding place in our game of hide and seek!

Miss Barnes also wants to say a big hello to you all. She hopes you are all having a great holiday and she is missing everyone in Green Class lots! Here is a few pictures of what Miss Barnes has been up to with Poppy and Willow this week.

Poppy and Willow have been decorating pebbles in the garden.

They have made beautiful rainbows to put in the window to cheer everybody up. Great work Poppy!

It looks like Poppy and Willow have made some delicious cookies! Are there any left Miss Barnes?

Lily has also sent me a picture of something fun she has done at home.

Lily has been busy making mosaic patterns. Well done Lily! Your picture is amazing!

Remember that you can email pictures of all the fun you are having at home to the school office and I can share them here on the blog for everyone to see! Remember to type 'FAO Mrs Gill' in the subject line.

Enjoy your time at home Green Class and remember to look out for the learning challenges we will be setting every Monday after the holidays!
