After a day at school with reduced numbers of children, I would just like to take the opportunity to say how amazing the year so far has been with Red Class and how much I will miss teaching all of them in the coming weeks.
The members of staff at our lovely school are pulling together, looking after one another and are so disappointed that we won't get to see the children flourish each day.
After having some time to let all this news sink in over the weekend, I think it is important to communicate how the children in Red Class are a credit to our school and to their families. They are kind, hard working, resilient, friendly and thoughtful. They are eager to learn, look after each other and care for other people's well being.
I am so proud of them!
See you soon.
