This week in Maths we have been learning all about Money!
We started the week identifying coins and learning about their value. We then moved on to using a variety of coins to create different amounts. We could make amounts like 50p in at least 5 different ways!
Today we read the book 'The Great Pet Sale' and we got the chance to buy our own animals. We worked in partners where one of us was the shop keeper and the other was a customer. We had to work out the correct coins for the things we bought. Some of us even managed to buy two things together!
