Over the last two weeks, we have been reading Stick Man by Julia Donaldson. After reading the story and receiving a message from Stick Man telling us that he was lost in our school, we went on a hunt to find him.
Although we couldn't see him anywhere, we wrote lots of postcards and Christmas cards for him, as well as comfortable beds and houses to keep him safe and happy.
We have also been making models of the Stick Man in the creative area and using natural resources. Some of us even had a go at labelling our models and writing sentences about how Stick Man might be feeling!
We had a go at putting some sentences together using words written on bottle tops and did a great job!
Thankfully, Stick Man wrote to us again and told us that he is now home safe with Stick Lady Love and his children, just in time for Christmas!
