Online Safety Day

This week we have had Online Safety day and we talked about how we can stay safe when we are using our computers, iPads, phones and xbox's.

The day started with an email from Willy Wonka asking us lots of questions about ourselves, we talked in partners about if we should reply and decided that we shouldn't answer any of his questions because we didn't know if it really was Willy Wonka.

We then read a story about a spider called Webster who told lots of lies online to try and impress someone else, he then found out who he was talking to was also lying...and ended up being his brother!

Finally we had an important job of creating leaflets and posters teaching other children how to stay safe online.
Here are a few of our suggestions:

* Always ask a grown-up before going on the computer
* Be honest about what you are going on
* Never share personal information with anyone else online
* If something upsets us or if we go on something accidentally always always always tell a grown-up
