Welcome back

Welcome back, I can't quite believe this is our last term together.

 

We have started the term with lots of fun activities, lots of outdoor play and a visit to the forest school.

 

In English, we have been planning our own adventure, where would you go on yours?

 

In Maths we have been learning to add. Can you write your own number sentence at home?

 

In topic, we have been thinking about our year in purple class and what we feel most proud of and what we are looking forward to when we transition to year 1.

 

What a busy week!

 

Active Maths!

This week we took our Maths learning outside. We had to run around the playground and collect all of the coloured objects. We then counted them altogether and wrote a number sentence.  

Fruit Kebabs

On Wednesday we made fruit kebabs. They were very juicy and the best bit was eating them they were so delicious!

Fabulous Phonics Fun!!

In Year 1, we are having fun with our phonics!

Fruit Kebabs!

Today we started our topic by making our own healthy fruit kebabs. We developed our skills by using a knife safely to cut up our fruit before putting it carefully onto the skewers. The best part was eating them! We are very excited for our topic!
